News
One of the inspirations for keeping Byliner going was the realisation that it could be even more useful with RSS feeds. (Read more about RSS here.) Finally, RSS feeds are available, listing the most recent stories by writers on your list. When you're logged in there is a link to your personal RSS file in the yellow bar at the top of the page. This is still in beta and comments would be appreciated. A few caveats:
- If you change your list of writers on the website, your RSS file won't reflect this change immediately. It could take a couple of hours.
- There may well be invalid characters in the feeds, a problem that is present on the whole site. I need to work more on removing these.
- There are probably ways in which the feeds could be improved. If you know your RSS and semantic web, let me know your thoughts!
